Terms of Service
These are the terms for using Bloomie. In short: Bloomie is practice, not advice; its replies can be wrong; you keep what you write; and you can leave and delete your account at any time.
Who we are
Bloomie is run by:

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Superwhale Ltd., and “you” means the person using Bloomie. These terms apply when you create an account. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal data.
Who can use Bloomie
You must be 18 or older to use Bloomie, and able to enter into a binding contract where you live. If we establish that an account belongs to someone younger, we close it and remove its content under our deletion process. Our help page stays open to everyone.
What Bloomie is for
Bloomie is for practising conversations. You can answer a question out loud and hear how it came across (Story), or practise a conversation with a simulated partner (Chatting). It works from your own words, typed or spoken. Controls and help are in English. Generated replies may use other languages.
Bloomie is intended for communication practice. Its responses may be wrong, and they should not replace professional advice or emergency help. What it tells you describes what you wrote or said and offers ideas to try; it is not a judgement of you or of anyone else. Please use your own judgement before acting on anything it says.
If you or someone near you is in danger, call your local emergency number. Bloomie cannot contact emergency services for you or locate you. Our help page lists people you can reach, and anyone can open it without an account.
Your account
Give accurate details. Check them before you select Create account: the contract starts when we create your account. These terms are in English and you can save or print them.
An account is for one person. Keep your password private and tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are not responsible for unauthorised activity caused by our failure to keep the service secure.
You can delete your account whenever you like, in Settings under Privacy. Deleting it removes it and what is in it from our active systems, as the Privacy Policy explains.
Plans and limits
Bloomie includes a number of practice uses each week, shown in the app. We may also set other limits to keep the service fair and affordable, and we will show new limits before they affect you. A limit never blocks the help page, and what you have already saved stays available when a limit is reached.
Paid plans are not open yet. If we introduce them, we will show you the price, how often you are charged and how to cancel before you pay, and you will keep any rights the law gives you.
Using Bloomie properly
Please do not:
- use Bloomie for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or deceive a real person;
- try to break, overload, probe or get around its limits or security, or copy it by automated means;
- share your account, or sell or hand on access to it.
When you write about other people, please use roles or made-up names and leave out details that identify them.
We may suspend access where reasonably needed to deal with a serious or repeated breach, to protect people or the service, or to comply with the law. We will explain, and offer a way to ask for a review, where the law and safety allow.
What you put in, and what comes back
What you type or say, and the things you save, stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to run Bloomie for you: to store them, send them to the services described in the Privacy Policy, and produce replies, readings and recaps. We do not use what you write to train AI models, and we ask our providers not to.
Replies, readings and recaps are generated for you. They may be inaccurate, and similar text may be generated for other people. You can use them for your own personal purposes.
Take care what you write. The Privacy Policy explains how Bloomie handles it, including anything sensitive.
AI services we use
To work, Bloomie sends what you type or say to AI services that turn speech into text, write replies, assess recordings and speak replies aloud. We ask them not to keep it or train on it, but those are requests and settings, not promises we can make for them. The Privacy Policy lists what is sent and to whom. If these services are unavailable or slow, Bloomie may be too.
Ownership of the service
We or our licensors own Bloomie, including its software, design, text and name. You may use it for your own personal purposes while these terms apply, and you must not copy, resell or build on it without our written permission.
Your suggestions
We may use suggestions you send us to improve Bloomie without paying for them. This does not affect your data rights.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Bloomie running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may make necessary changes for security, legal reasons or maintenance. We will give reasonable advance notice of changes that matter, and a way to download your saved content before we withdraw a feature that holds it, unless urgent action is needed. You can stop using Bloomie without charge.
Our standard of care
We provide Bloomie with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise that it will meet your goals, improve any particular result, or be right every time. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited, including your rights as a consumer, and nothing here excludes statements about the service that the law makes part of our agreement.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit.
Otherwise, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses from using a personal service. Events beyond our reasonable control do not excuse loss caused by our own failure.
Ending your use
You can stop using Bloomie and delete your account at any time. We may close an account for the reasons given under “Using Bloomie properly”, or if the law requires. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We will change the date at the top and, for changes that matter, tell you in the app before they apply. If you do not accept a change, you can delete your account.
Disagreements
You can contact us to try to resolve a problem: support@usebloomie.com. This does not limit your right to bring a claim. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can decide any dispute. If you live in the UK, the EU or the EEA, you keep the benefit of the consumer protection laws where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
The small print
These terms are the agreement between you and us about Bloomie. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to someone else; we may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business, if your rights are not reduced. Only you and we can enforce these terms. We may give you notices by email or in the app.
